Everyone was shocked on hearing the sudden news of Sushant Singh Rajput passing away. May his soul RIP. The rising star of the industry who was battling depression succumbed to it. Studies show that highly successful are more prone to mental illness than normal people. It is because they have to constantly tackle pressures. This fame and money can be a curse for many people. Most celebrities cannot enjoy their normal lives and vacations as they have to think about their every move. One wrong move will be judged to the extent of destroying their lives.

CEOs are more prone to mental diseases as the company's future relies on them and people have high hopes from them. They have to make sure they are perfect. There is an absence of peace.

Over the years we have seen many famous people who opened up about their fight with depression.
I want to list a few here-
Dwayne Johnson, Brad Pitt, Jim Carrey, Johnny Depp, Chris Evans, Deepika Padukone, Kapil Sharma, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Anne Hathaway, and many more.
King of horror Stephen King also suffered from depression. Also J.K Rowling.
Michael Phelps who is the most successful athlete in Olympic history with around 60 medals didn't want to live.

Even Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln, Issac Newton had suffered from depression.

The feeling of depression is not just being extremely sad but much more severe than this. A man once described it as follows-

" What is depression like? It's like drowning, except everyone around you is breathing."

It is difficult to get away with it because it is in your brain. You need to fight with yourself constantly. You are at a war. And it's not easy. The feeling cannot be described and the root cause is also not clearly known which makes it difficult to treat. Unlike physical illness, people with mental illness can easily be seen as normal and thus others cannot suspect it.

So just know how serious it is and don't go on saying you feel depressed just because you feel sad, because it's much more and severe than that. It has taken lives.

Thank you for reading, share it with people, and spread awareness because it's necessary.

Stay Safe,
Curio.

Mi captured the Indian market by compromising on Advertising

Xiaomi did not spend much on advertising. Everyone is aware of India's No.1  Smartphone brand- Mi. Many people didn't know about the Chinese company until the release of  Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 which was a massive success. It captured the Indian mobile phone market.  How did they do that? The answer is of course their price. Mi phones are very cheap and affordable with pretty good quality in that price segment.
