If you love cooking and never heard of this name, you should seriously think about it. Gordon James Ramsay is a legendary character in the culinary world. His 'Restaurant Gordon Ramsay' won three Michelin stars in just three years. Now, what is this Michelin star? It's the highest honour in the culinary world and the maximum, a restaurant can get is 3 stars. In short, Oscar for restaurants. Chefs around the world dedicate their entire lives to just have one. 


Ramsay's restaurants have been awarded a total of 16 and currently holds 7 Michelin stars. Gordon himself has won 3 Catey awards, highest award given to a chef.


Now this man, of course, is not just a great chef but also a businessman. He has a total of 35 restaurants around the world. All of Ramsay's business interests (restaurants, media, consultancy) are held under Gordon Ramsay Holdings Limited. Ramsay owns 69%. From this, he earns around $45 Million dollars.
In 2017 he earned $60 Million dollars which was as much as Beyonce. 


Apart from this, he earns a lot from his shows. Ramsay has hosted many award-winning shows. The major ones are MasterChef, MasterChef Junior, Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares. He is paid around $225,000 per episode alone for Hell's Kitchen.


 He is known to be a hot head-bashing out at contestants of the show. This annoys a lot of them but in the end, they who they are dealing with and end up improving themselves.

All these things make him the richest chef in the world. He is also the only chef who was included in Forbes Celebrity 100.


 He is richer than world's richest cricketer- Sachin Tendulkar whose net worth is $115 Million dollars. Salman Khan's net worth is $230 Million dollars.

Ramsay is one of the best examples to do what you like irrespective of the so-called 'Scope'.
